A College Education within Reach

Meet a few of the amazing students Carolina is able to attract and retain through Scholarships at Carolina.

Meet a few of the amazing students Carolina is able to attract and retain through Scholarships at Carolina.

Scholarships are at the core of what it means to be of the public and for the public. Once a student earns a place at Carolina, we want them to aim high and excel as they continue their education, so we work hard to keep the cost of a college education within reach.

For Carolina to continue to recruit the brightest and most talented students from all walks of life, privately funded scholarships are more critical than ever. Our commitment to students attracts the best applicants, creates the strongest student body, and leads to better graduation rates for all and successful post-college careers for Tar Heel alumni.

Watch the video above and read the stories below for an overview of the amazing students we are able to attract and retain because of financial aid and support programs like the Carolina Covenant; Blue Sky Scholars; Peachtree Scholars; the Red, White and Carolina Blue Challenge; and more.
