The Morehead-Cain Scholarship gives students the opportunity to explore how their talents and interests can make the world a better place.

Ali Alford ’17—a business major and biology minor from Jacksonville, North Carolina—was a Morehead-Cain Scholar who made the Carolina experience her own. On campus, she co-chaired Build the Hill, a Campus Y committee that offers small or zero-percent interest loans to underserved or underprivileged communities.
