“Education is what propelled my parents from their start to a pretty good life.”

Frank Emory ’82 (J.D.) believes in the transformative power of education. He and his wife, Lisa, both had parents who instilled it in them. They instilled it in their two sons. And with the Frank E. and Lisa L. Emory Family Scholarship at the UNC School of Law, they want to make education available to Eastern North Carolina students passionate about pursuing a career in law. Their hope is to remove any financial barriers and to open doors to opportunities they enjoyed in their own educations.
