UNC alumna and doctoral student Brooke Nezami has found a smart way to use technology to help reduce the amount of sugary beverages moms and their kids consume. Smart Moms is an intervention method that delivers content to mothers on their phones, helps monitor their progress digitally and engages mothers and kids in the process.
