Health care informatics can make a real difference in people's lives...
Together, Carolina and the United Health Foundation can make a difference in people’s lives through health care data and informatics.
Because of the Carolina Health Informatics Program and the culture of innovation at Carolina, Project ENABLE — the Extensible Network-Accessible Biomedical and Health Informatics Lifelong Learning Environment — will support the growing need for health informatics experts since more health care services are moving to digital records. It will offer in-person boot camps for students at local Historically Black Colleges and Universities to encourage training in health informatics careers. It will deliver health informatics online course content for students and working professionals. And it will offer an online master’s degree for working professionals — focusing on data analytics, visualizations, statistics and database systems.
