$1 Billion for Scholarships at Carolina

When the Campaign for Carolina launched on Oct. 6, 2017, the $4.25 billion goal included the ambitious aim to raise $1 billion for scholarships and graduate fellowships at Carolina. Thanks to our generous donors, the campaign exceeded both goals, reaching $5.1 billion total and more than $1 billion for scholarships and fellowships by Dec. 31, 2022.

These accomplished Carolina students, scholars and Tar Heels have big dreams. In their own words, scholarships and graduate fellowships are a “game-changer” and “provide opportunities that wouldn’t otherwise exist.” Thank you to everyone who has given to scholarships in the Campaign for Carolina!
