MBA student receives prestigious scholarship based on moral character and service

The Leslie Adkins Endowed Scholarship from The Consortium is based on moral character, commitment to scholarship and volunteerism and service to humanity.

Recent recipient of this prestigious scholarship, Je’nique Harewood ’21 (MBA), exemplifies each of these qualities. A Consortium member, club leader, Business Communication Center consultant, teaching assistant and Kenan Scholar, Harewood is certainly worthy of this award.

The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management is the preeminent organization in the United States for promoting diversity and fostering inclusion in American business and MBA education. Alongside the work of the Consortium, Harewood has been promoting diversity and fostering inclusion at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School on her own as well, and this scholarship will support her in doing so.
