“At the end of the day, no matter what I was doing on campus, I wanted it to benefit the University, especially in its creative, innovation ecosystems.”
Brent Comstock ’17 had already launched his own digital marketing company—at age 12—before coming to Carolina. When he set foot on campus as a Robertson ScholarOpens in new window, he had a simple plan: take advantage of every opportunity he could in innovation and entrepreneurship the University had to offer.
He’s done exactly that—and then some. After four years at Carolina, he has left a lasting impact on campus. He helped turn CarolinaGOOpens in new window into an app that students use every day—to drop or add a class, to figure out a bus schedule or to see what’s on the menu at Lenoir, and more. He also played a significant role in making Adobe Creative Cloud free for all students.
