Robert Clay is one of hundreds of non-traditional transfer students who find their way to Carolina each year. Many of these students participate in the Carolina Student Transfer Excellence Program. C-STEP provides talented students with the option of transferring into Carolina after completing two years at one of 14 partner community colleges across the state.
