Carolina's Chemistry department celebrates its 200th anniversary this year.

For 200 years, Carolina has invested in promising young scientists, providing them with the tools needed to thrive and to advance the discipline. That tradition is perhaps stronger than ever today. While many of those chemists walked the halls of Venable Hall, a new science complex stands in its place where generations of chemists and scientists will lead new discoveries.
