Because of the tremendous generosity of almost 68,000 donors, Carolina received more than $495 million in private commitments in fiscal year 2016—a new best in UNC fundraising.

This success means that we will continue what we started more than 200 years ago. We will produce groundbreaking research and draw closer to momentous breakthroughs across fields. We will provide crucial access to top tier students. We will do more for the greater good.

As much as we celebrate fiscal year 2016, we look even more to a stronger future. At Carolina, the best is yet to come.
