Annual Giving

Annual Giving raises funds for academic excellence at Carolina and reaches out to alumni and friends, parents, students, and faculty and staff to encourage their lasting connection and involvement with campus. You may choose to designate your annual gift(s) to any of the more than 7,000 funds supporting students, faculty or research in any of the University’s schools, units or programs. Tens of thousands of donors contribute millions of dollars each year; their generosity touches virtually every area on campus. These gifts are essential for fulfilling our ambitious teaching, research and public service mission and help make Carolina one of the best public universities in the nation.
