Excellence in Graduate Education: Impacting North Carolina and Beyond
To support excellence in graduate education at Carolina that impacts the state and beyond, we seek funding (1) to foster a culture of innovation across campus at departmental level, (2) to to attract highly qualified master’s and doctoral students through competitive awards and 3) funding to recognize and reward excellence in faculty mentorship.
Student Support
Eliminate Barriers: Student Scholarship and Enhanced Programming
To eliminate barriers so Carolina can ensure an intellectually vibrant and diverse graduate student population, we seek funding to support access for students who could not otherwise attend and to support student success once here through enhanced programming.
Global Impact
Prepare for the Future: Leadership Roles in a Changing Global Workforce
To prepare all graduate students for leadership roles in a changing global workforce, we seek funds (1) to continue robust programs for skills preparation and while implementing new offerings where appropriate; (2) to support experiential preparation such as career immersion, project based opportunities and leadership opportunities; and (3) to integrate ongoing support for professional practices.
