The Sean Douglas Fellowship and the Undergraduate International Studies Fellowship (UISF) programs encourage students to expand their studies beyond the classroom. Through these fellowships, we offer hands-on learning experiences in professional and global settings.
The Stone Center: Create a Nexus for Arts and CultureIt is critical that the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History maintains its facilities in order to provide the highest level of service to visitors and constituents. Private support allows the Stone Center to carry out its mission within the Center's walls, across campus and in the community-at-large.
Provide Opportunities for Intellectual ExchangesThe Stone Center has experienced tremendous growth and success, but to sustain excellence, we must constantly renew our commitment to critical interdisciplinary inquiry and innovative work in the arts. Our wellspring is the Stone Center Gift Fund, which provides the director with the flexible resources necessary to be nimble and strategic in response to opportunities that arise.
